This half-day tour includes rides on the backs of the motorbike with our local riders on countryside back roads to reach Trang An UNESCO Site for a 2.5-3 hour boat tour. In the same tour, you also visit two temples of our kings in Hoa Lu. There is another alternative (combination) which fits the half-day: do a small hike in Hang Mua (Mua Cave) – the mini Grand Canyon of Ninh Binh and visit two temples of our kings in Hoa Lu.

The Trang An Grottoes (also known as the Trang An UNESCO Complex) offers authentic natural beauty of water caves and rock formation. The rowing boat tour in Trang An takes you through caves and have mini breaks on the islands for visiting monuments and using restrooms”.

Hoa Lu was the ancient capital city of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. Here, kings under Dinh and Le dynasties built a citadel surrounded by karst-mountains. After a long period being suffered from the destruction of wars and weather, what remain now are the two sacred temples of our kings and a part of the old palace.

Hang Mua (Mua Cave) can also serve as an alternative for Trang An Grottoes Boat Ride. Mua Cave and Hoa Lu Temples fit the half-day.

Mua Cave offers unique views of Tam Coc Rivers from above. This “mini Grand Canyon” is the best place to get high in Ninh Binh. Views change every meter make the hike more interesting.

Trip schedule:

Option 1: Trang An and Hoa Lu.

8:00AM (or 1:00PM): Get picked-up by our easy riders at your hotel/ homestay in Ninh Binh/ Tam Coc Area. Ride through our villages and back roads to reach Trang An. Enjoy a 2.5-3 hour boat-ride through grottoes in Trang An. Continue the ride to two temple of kings Dinh and Le in Hoa Lu. Trip ends at your hotel around 12:00PM (or 5:30PM).

Or Option 2: Get picked-up by our easy riders at your hotel/ homestay in Ninh Binh/ Tam Coc Area. Ride through our villages and back roads to reach Hang Mua (also called Mua Cave). Visit two temples of kings Dinh and Le in Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. Continue the ride to Hang Mua Caves to achieve the 500 steps to get views on top of some limestones. Trip ends at your hotel around 12:00PM (or 5:30PM).

What to bring: Camera, hat, umbrella, sunblock.
