This tour is designed for those who want to see the rural life of the local people on the bicycles. Our tour guide will take you cycle through the villages, access rice fields, mountains, and water-ways. During this trip, tourists may meet and talk with the local people on their farms. You will certainly take many photos of the people, rice fields, brown cows, water buffaloes, etc.

For decades, Tam Coc has been marked in many western guidebooks and travel forums as a picturesque landscape in Ninh Binh, North Vietnam. Thai Vi Temple is just at middle of Tam Coc, surrounded by beautiful rice fields. This small temple is dedicated for worshipping kings and queens under early Tran Dynasty to honor their great contribution to the country.

Further down 2km from Tam Coc, Bich Dong Pagoda lies behind big trees and mountains. It is known as one of the oldest pagodas in town. Tourists will be impressed by the traditional architecture and the amazing work by the old people to build a pagoda on mountains.

Many tourists have named Mua Cave (Hang Mua) the “Mini Grand Canyon of Ninh Binh”. Achieve its 500 steps to get high and record the stunning views of the Tam Coc River and the city’s downtown.

Trip schedule:

8:00AM: Get picked-up by our local tour guide and car driver at your Ninh Binh accommodation (surcharge may be applied if your accommodation is out of the city or Tam coc or Trang An areas), then, transferred to Tam Coc.

8:30AM: Enjoy a 2 hour boat ride in Tam Coc to see beautiful scenery of its river, caves and rice paddy fields.

10:30AM: Our staff will prepare bicycles for you to cycle with our guide to Bich Dong Pagoda.

12:00PM: Have lunch in a local restaurant.

1:30pm: Depending on your physical conditions and weather condition, we are open to your choice of more cycling or by car to access Thai Vi Temple (about 1.5km from lunch place).

2:30: Return the bikes. Continue the trip by car to Mua Cave and climb the 500 steps to reach viewpoint.

4:30PM: Drop-off at your accommodation.

What to bring: Camera, hat, umbrella, sunblock.
