Van Long Natural Reserve offers wonderful views of landscapes and rural life. In comparison with Tam Coc and Trang An, which are more popular, Van Long is much more primitive and completely untouched. Beautiful scenery, quiet, with only a few other small boats gliding along, here you may get to catch many birds and rare monkeys and get stunning views of landscape and rural life. Phat Diem Stone Church

Phat Diem Stone Church is one of the most famous and impressive churches in Vietnam. Its special architecture is an elegant combination between Western church architecture style and Vietnamese religious buildings. It took 24 years from 1875 to 1898 to build this church. As its name says, the church was completely built of stone and wood that were readily available in the mountain area of Ninh Binh. The preparation phase, mainly extracting materials from karst-mountains, took the local as many as 10 years to finish.
